I've been doing hair and makeup for as long as I can remember - it started off with Cabbage Patch and Barbie dolls, and over time, real live humans began to trust me. Probably a little sooner than they should have, but hey, we all start somewhere!  My first "clients" were in middle school, where I had a long line of girls anxiously awaiting their vampy lipstick application that I had concocted from black eyeliner and red lipstick. (Don't judge - it was the 90s and I was 12...I had to improvise.) There was soon an influx of pre-teen girls walking around with dark burgundy lips. I may or may not have been responsible for that entire trend.

Fast forward many, many years to present day where I wouldn't be caught dead giving you burgundy lips (unless you threaten me). Now, I much more prefer a pinky nude shade, paired with naturally enhanced makeup and soft, effortless hair. I'll do this while we listen to Taylor Swift, laugh about inappropriate things, and become best friends.

When I'm not slangin' hair and makeup, you can catch me being Houston's "cool mom" and annoying my man for all his love and attention - all while lounging on the couch watching reruns of Golden Girls. Sometimes I'll even leave the house to walk around Home Goods to sniff the candles, or get drunk in Mexico and end up with a smiley face tattoo on the front of my arm. But that's a story for another time!
